The greatest advertising for a film I’ve ever seen!

So there’s two months till High-Rise premieres in the UK, and I really hope it get a release date in Denmark. But I can in the meantime just look at the amazing new stills that got released today, and of course finish J.G. Ballard’s amazing novel (I only have around 30 pages left.CY_EuRoUMAAmI_X

So I am living in Denmark… and I took a break from my job
search and was looking on Kino.dk for some film news and I saw that Black Mass will premiere on October 15, which made me think about – can I get to see this, what looks like a really interesting and great film, and see the live transmission of Benedict Cumberbatch as Hamlet which is on the same day.

I could make a Cumberbatch day out of it!

Here’s the trailer for Black Mass: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CE3e3hGF2jc

Dialogue from The Imitation Game – let me try and we’ll know for sure

download (1)COMMANDER DENNISTON: Enigma isn’t difficult. It’s impossible. The Americans. The French. The Russians. The Germans. Everyone thinks Enigma is unbreakable.

ALAN TURING: Goody! Let me try and we’ll know for sure.

First I have to say… I haven’t seen this movie yet (live in Denmark, so it hasn’t premiered here yet), but I have followed and waited for it for so long I had to post something – so here’s a talk between Commander Denniston (Charles Dance) and Alan Turing (Benedict Cumberbatch).

I really hope this film gets nominated for an Oscar.. but we will find out on January 15th.

This is all I have to say right now, but I will be back with a review when I have seen it (going to see it on January 14th).. bye for now!

The host for the 87th Academy Awards is found!

neil-patrick-harris-oscarsHere’s some Oscar news – they found the host and it is none other than Neil Patrick Harris (How I Met Your MotherDr. Horrible’s Sing-along Blog) and it is the first time he’s hosting The Oscars. I must say I can’t wait. He has been an awesome host at the Tony’s, so him hosting the Oscars is going to be some amazing show (I’m hoping).

So The Oscars 2015 is being held Sunday February 22nd.

Here’s an article from Empire Magazine where you can read more: Neil Patrick Harris as the host for the Oscars 2015
